Blog 5- How to Overcome My Weaknesses.

I would like to improve upon my knowledge across all areas of production techniques. This includes refining the structure of script writing to advancing my knowledge in the editing process. In evaluating my strengths and weakness, I highlighted areas in which I could improve.

To develop my editing skills, I will use stock and recycled footage to practise different editing techniques, including working with green screens and clipping together the correct transitions. Furthermore, to enhance my production and post-production skills I have gathered a collection of essential readings in which will help to further my knowledge. In addition to this I would like to learn more about the equipment that it used within production. In order to do this, I will research in depth the type of equipment that I will be using. This will help to advise me on how to use the equipment efficiently as well as know how to step in if a member of crew is missing or if there is a malfunction in the equipment.

When talking about by my weaknesses I would like to work on creating contingency plans in case anything goes wrong, which will allow production to run smoother. In addition to this confronting large group matters, is something I find difficult, especially when it comes to make my voice heard.
